Successful Webinar on Transformative nZEB Buildings Draws Over 100 Participants

We are delighted to share the success of our webinar titled “Transformative Webinar on Affordable nZEB Buildings,” which took place on April 25th, 2024. Hosted online via Zoom, this pivotal event attracted 101 attendees, including notable professionals and experts from across the energy sector in Ukraine.

The webinar commenced with an insightful address by Artur Obidnyk, Head of the Department of Methodological Support and Regulation of Energy Efficiency at the Ministry for Communities, Territories, and Infrastructure Development of Ukraine. His insights set a profound tone for the discussions that followed.

Highlights of the Event:

  • Innovative Building Concepts: The session highlighted three groundbreaking nZEB multifamily building designs that promise not only energy efficiency but also affordability and rapid construction — key attributes for Ukraine’s ongoing reconstruction efforts.
  • Expert Discussions: Contributions from Wojciech Racięcki, Olaf Bruun Jørgensen, and Luděk Špidla provided deep dives into new technologies for energy-efficient building construction, prefabricated housing concepts from Denmark and Poland and the integration of heat recovery systems in nZEBs in Czech Republic, respectively.
  • Future Training Initiatives: Rafał Stanek, TEAD Team leder highlited that as the TEAD project nears the completion of its training phase, we are excited about the initiation of courses for energy auditors and technical designers starting June 2024, delivered by our newly trained educators.

Engaging a Diverse Audience:

The webinar not only catered to professionals already established in the field but also aimed to attract and inspire women to join the energy auditing profession, a key focus of the TEAD Project. This initiative aligns with our goal to enhance the quality of energy audits in both public and private sectors across Ukraine.

Looking Ahead:

We trust that this webinar has inspired attendees and stakeholders in the Ukrainian construction sector to embrace innovative, energy-efficient building solutions. Stay tuned for more events like this as we remain committed to support and develop Ukraine’s energy efficiency landscape.

We look forward to welcoming you to our future events and training sessions.
