She became interested in energy auditing while still studying at the university. Her main duties as an energy auditor include performing calculations of engineering networks.

Marina constantly develops and enhances her qualifications. She underwent training in thermographic imaging in Germany as part of the GIZ project, developed a package of recommended energy-saving measures for hospitals, and attended advanced training courses at the National University “Zaporizhzhya Polytechnic.” Upon completion of these courses, she received a qualification certificate granting her the right to conduct activities related to inspecting building engineering systems. Additionally, she studied under the “Preparation of Energy Auditors for Work with the Energy Efficiency Fund” program.
“The use of alternative energy sources is very relevant at this time, due to the war. It is a promising direction for the development of an energy-independent infrastructure and a component of the stable development of our country. For me, as an energy auditor, it is very important to provide people with detailed information about the use of alternative energy sources and to stimulate their application,” noted Marina.

Due to the war, women have played a leading role in supplying energy resources and reducing energy consumption at the community level for more than a year and a half. Therefore, during this time, women have gained new experience and can become a new driving force in promoting the principles of sustainable development, implementing energy-efficient changes, using energy-efficient technologies, and learning energy-saving behaviour. This is a good step and an opportunity for self-improvement.
Marina believes that in the field of energy auditing, there is nothing impossible for women who strive to learn and continuously develop.
